TL;DR: In this paper, the solubilities of erythritol in different solvents were measured using a synthetic method and the laser monitoring observation technique was used to determine the disappearance of the solid phase in a solid + liquid mixture.
Abstract: The solubilities of erythritol in different solvents were measured using a synthetic method. The laser monitoring observation technique was used to determine the disappearance of the solid phase in a solid + liquid mixture. The effect of solvent composition and temperature on the solubility was discussed. The solubility data was correlated with an empirical equation.

TL;DR: The title compound, C16H18S2, crystallizes with two half-mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit as discussed by the authors, and there is a center of inversion at the midpoint of the central C-C bond.
Abstract: The title compound, C16H18S2, crystallizes with two half-molecules in the asymmetric unit. In each independent molecule, there is a centre of inversion at the mid-point of the central C—C bond. Each molecule, excluding H atoms, is roughly planar and adopts an all-anti conformation. The dihedral angles between the phenyl rings and backbone chain are 19.5 (4) and 17.8 (4)°.

TL;DR: In this paper, the AgI ions show linear coordination through the N atom from one 1-phenyl sulfanyl-2-(2-pyridylsulfan-yl)ethane (L) molience and the S atom of another.
Abstract: In the title complex, {[Ag(C13H13NS2)]BF4}n, the AgI ions show linear coordination through the N atom from one 1-phenylsulfanyl-2-(2-pyridylsulfanyl)ethane (L) molecule and the S atom of another. Each L ligand bridges two adjacent Ag atoms through the donor molecules, leading to a linear chain structure.

TL;DR: In this paper, the AgI atom shows trigonal-planar coordination, as it is coordinated by the N atoms from two bismethane molecules and the N-atom donor of an acetonitrile molecule.
Abstract: In the title complex, {[Ag(C9H8N4S2)(C2H3N)]BF4}n, the AgI atom shows trigonal–planar coordination, as it is coordinated by the N atoms from two bis(pyrimidin-2-ylsulfanyl)methane molecules and the N-atom donor of an acetonitrile molecule. The manner in which the donor molecules connect to the Ag atoms leads to a linear chain structure. Adjacent chains are connected into a layer via weak Ag⋯S interactions.
