Journal ArticleDOI

Wall slip and melt fracture of poly(lactides)

TL;DR: In this article, the wall slip and melt fracture behavior of commercial polylactides (PLAs) as well as their rheological properties under shear and extensional have been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flow-induced crystallization of polypropylenes in capillary flow

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the flow-induced crystallization behavior of polypropylenes with different molecular characteristics using a capillary rheometer, and found that the crystallization kinetics were enhanced with increasing molecular weight, indicating the importance of high-end tail of molecular weight distribution.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Biodegradable polymers: Wall slip, melt fracture, and processing aids

TL;DR: The wall slip and melt fracture behavior of several commercial polylactides (PLAs) and poly(e-caprolactone), (PCLs) have been investigated in this paper.
