Linking Hip Disability and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score-Physical Function Short Form and PROMIS Physical Function
Marilyn Heng,Brocha Z. Stern,Xiao Tang,Benjamin D. Schalet,Austin K. Collins,Antonia F. Chen,Hany Bedair,T. O’Brien,Rachel C. Sisodia,Patricia D. Franklin,David Cella +10 more
TL;DR: These crosswalks can be used to convert scores between HOOS-PS and PROMIS PF metric at the group level, which can be valuable for data aggregation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Does anxiety mean the same in English and German language? Evaluation of the psychometric equivalence of the PROMIS® anxiety item bank and its German translation
Inka Wahl,Joshua Rutsohn,David Cella,Bernd Löwe,Matthias Rose,Elmar Brähler,Paul A. Pilkonis,Benjamin D. Schalet +7 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Can a linking crosswalk table be applied to a different population? An independent validation study for a crosswalk between BSI depression and PROMIS depression scales
Xiao Tang,Benjamin D. Schalet,Patrick Janulis,Michele D. Kipke,Aaron J. Kaat,Brian Mustanski,Michael D. Newcomb,Amy Ragsdale,Soyeon Kim,Sue Siminski,Pamina M. Gorbach +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a crosswalk for score conversion between the Brief Symptom Inventory Depression subscale and the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Depression 8a using an independent sample was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Linking the RCADS-25 to the PROMIS® pediatric item banks Anxiety and Depressive Symptoms in a general Dutch population sample
Leonie Klaufus,Xiao Tang,Eva Verlinden,Marcel F. van der Wal,Lotte Haverman,Michiel A. J. Luijten,Pim Cuijpers,Mai J. M. Chinapaw,Benjamin D. Schalet +8 more
TL;DR: The RCADS-25 item parameters and crosswalk tables presented in this study are sufficiently valid and can be used to translate the RC ADS-25 anxiety and depression subscales scores to the PROMIS metric to ensure comparability with the previous research.
Journal ArticleDOI
Does scoring method impact estimation of significant individual changes assessed by patient-reported outcome measures? Comparing Classical Test Theory versus Item Response Theory.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors examined the ability of classical test theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT) scores assessed by Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS®) measures to identify significant individual changes in the setting of clinical studies, using both simulated and empirical data.
