Patent
Platinum-tin catalyst on an alumina carrier
TL;DR: Compositions of a Group VIII noble metal, tin and an inorganic, solid, refractory oxide carrier have excellent dehydrogenation activities and little or no isomerization and cracking activities as mentioned in this paper.
Patent
Low temperature regeneration of coke deactivated reforming catalysts
TL;DR: A process for regenerating a coke contaminated reforming catalyst comprising platinum on a molecular sieve is described in this paper, which consists essentially of contacting said catalyst with a halogen-free oxygen-containing gas at a temperature of less than 780° F. for a sufficient period of time such that the aromatization activity is restored to within 20° F of the activity said catalyst possessed at the start of the previous run cycle.
Patent
Apparatus for hydrocarbon processing
John V. Heyse,Bernard F Mulaskey,Robert A. Innes,Hagewiesche Daniel P,Gale L. Hubred,Moore Steven C,Paul F. Bryan,Hise Robert L,Trumbull Steven E,Randall J. Harris +9 more
TL;DR: Disclosed as mentioned in this paper is a method for reforming hydrocarbons comprising contacting the polycarbon with a catalyst in a reactor system of improved resistance to carburization and metal dusting under conditions of low sulfur.
Patent
Hydrocarbon hydroconversion catalyst and the method for its preparation
TL;DR: In this article, a rigidly interconnected pack of irregularly shaped particles having an average diameter below 0.15 mm is presented, and throughout the pack are access channels comprising interconnected macropores having diameters in the 0.1 to 15 micron range.
