Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogenation of nitroaromatics by polymer-anchored bimetallic palladium-ruthenium and palladium-platinum catalysts under mild conditions

TL;DR: In this article, a polymer-anchored bimetallic palladium-ruthenium catalyst, PVP-PdCl2-RuCl3, was used for the hydrogenation of p-chloronitrobenzene (CNB) to aniline (AN).
Journal ArticleDOI

A remarkable synergic effect of polymer-anchored bimetallic palladium–ruthenium catalysts in the selective hydrogenation of p-chloronitrobenzene

TL;DR: A synergic effect of the polymer-anchored bimetallic palladium-ruthenium catalysts can lead to a remarkable increase in the selectivity for p-chloroaniline in the selective hydrogenation of P-chloronitrobenzene under atmospheric pressure and in the presence of a small amount of base as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly active polymer-anchored bimetallic palladium-based catalysts for the carbonylation of allyl halides under atmospheric pressure

TL;DR: In this article, a polymer-anchored bimetallic palladium-based catalysts (PVP-PdCl 2 -MY, PVP = poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone, MY = the second transition metal component) exhibit very high catalytic activity and selectivity for the carbonylation of allyl halides (CH 2 =CH−CH 2 X, X = Cl or Br).
