Multiscaffold DNA Origami Nanoparticle Waveguides
William P. Klein,Charles N. Schmidt,Blake Rapp,Sadao Takabayashi,William B. Knowlton,Jeunghoon Lee,Bernard Yurke,William L. Hughes,Elton Graugnard,Wan Kuang +9 more
TL;DR: This work employs a multiscaffold DNA origami approach to fabricate linear waveguides of 10 nm diameter gold nanoparticles that provide a path toward large-scale plasmonic circuitry.
Journal ArticleDOI
High precision and high yield fabrication of dense nanoparticle arrays onto DNA origami at statistically independent binding sites
Sadao Takabayashi,William P. Klein,Craig Onodera,Blake Rapp,Juan Flores-Estrada,Elias Lindau,Lejmarc Snowball,Joseph Tyler Sam,Jennifer E. Padilla,Jeunghoon Lee,William B. Knowlton,Elton Graugnard,Bernard Yurke,Wan Kuang,William L. Hughes +14 more
TL;DR: Modified geometric, binomial, and trinomial distributions indicate that site-bridging, steric hindrance, and electrostatic repulsion were not dominant barriers to self-assembly and both tethers and binding sites were statistically independent at high particle densities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of [Zn(acetate)2(amine)x] compounds (x=1 or 2) and their use as precursors to ZnO
Jesse S. Hyslop,Amanda R. Boydstun,Theron R. Fereday,Joanna R. Rusch,Jennifer L. Strunk,Christian T. Wall,Cecelia C. Pena,Nicholas L. McKibben,Jerry D. Harris,Aaron Thurber,Alex Punnoose,Jason Brotherton,Pamela Walker,Lloyd Lowe,Blake Rapp,Shem Purnell,William B. Knowlton,Seth M. Hubbard,Brian J. Frost +18 more
TL;DR: The synthesis and single crystal X-ray structure of [Zn(acetate)2(en)], and the synthesis of zinc acetate amines, which are useful single source precursors to ZnO bulk powders by alkali precipitation and ZNO thin films by spray pyrolysis.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Cryogenic to room temperature effects of NBTI in high-k PMOS devices
Richard G. Southwick,Shem Purnell,Blake Rapp,Ryan J. Thompson,Shane K. Pugmire,Ben Kaczer,Tibor Grasser,William B. Knowlton +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present experimental evidence that hole trapping mechanisms contributing to negative bias temperature instability (NBTI) of high-k dielectric p-channel metal oxide semiconductor (pMOS) transistors are thermally activated.
