Maxent modeling for predicting impacts of climate change on the potential distribution of Thuja sutchuenensis Franch., an extremely endangered conifer from southwestern China

TL;DR: Li et al. as mentioned in this paper used the principle of maximum entropy (Maxent) to model the species' potential distribution area under paleoclimate, current and future climate background, and found that the Maxent model was highly accurate with a statistically significant AUC value of 0.998, which is higher than 0.5 of a null model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prospects of measuring $R_b$ in hadronic $\mathrm{Z}$ decays at the CEPC

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the relative partial width of a boson into b quarks at the CEPC Monte Carlo level, based on the latest CEPC detector concept, and reconstructed the hadronic decay channel by using the double-tagging method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Eating from the wild: diversity of wild edible plants used by Tibetans in Shangri-la region, Yunnan, China

TL;DR: Wild food plants species are abundant and diverse in Shangri-la region of Yunnan Province, SW China and both WEPs and their associated indigenous knowledge are facing various threats, so conservation and sustainable utilization of these plants in this area are of the utmost importance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ethnobotanical study on medicinal plants used by Maonan people in China

TL;DR: The species diversity of medicinal plants used by the Maonans in the study area was very rich, and the conflicts between traditional inheriting system and recent socio-economic changes resulted in the reduction or loss of both medicinal plants and associated indigenous knowledge.

Mass and K{lambda} Coupling of the N*(1535)

TL;DR: A large N*KLamda coupling in the coupled channel Breit-Wigner formula for the N*(1535) is found to be around 1400 MeV, much smaller than the previous value of about 1535 MeV obtained without including its coupling to KLamda.
