Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, structural and magnetic studies of an isostructural family of mixed 3d/4f tetranuclear 'star' clusters.
TL;DR: DC magnetic studies on new 'star' clusters of formula show that all cases display weak coupling, with compounds 3 and 4 displaying ferromagnetic J(LnFe) coupling, 3 having a S = 11 ground state.
Journal ArticleDOI
Towards synthetic models for trinuclear copper active sites of ascorbate oxidase and laccase: self-assembly, crystal structure and magnetic properties of the copper( II ) complexes of 1,3,5-tris(1,4,7-triazacyclonon-1-ylmethyl)benzene†
Leone Spiccia,Bim Graham,Milton Thomas William Hearn,George Lazarev,Boujemaa Moubaraki,Keith S. Murray,Edward R. T. Tiekink +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the ESR and magnetic susceptibility data indicated that the complex consists of three identical non-interacting copper(II) centres, at a separation of 3.557(4) A, linked by an hydroxo bridge and two phosphate oxygens.

Preparation, characterisation and structures of copper(II) complexes of an asymmetric anti-cancer drug analogue†
TL;DR: A series of copper(II) complexes of the anti-cancer drug analogue 1,5-bis(2-pyridylmethylene)thiocarbonohydrazide (H2L) was synthesized from acid solution as mentioned in this paper.
