Journal ArticleDOI
Correlation of Lung Clearance Index with Hyperpolarized 129Xe Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Pediatric Subjects with Cystic Fibrosis
Nikhil Kanhere,Marcus J. Couch,Krzysztof Kowalik,Brandon Zanette,Jonathan H. Rayment,David Manson,Padma Subbarao,Felix Ratjen,Giles E. Santyr +8 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of the Diagnostic Accuracy of DSC- and Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced MRI in the Preoperative Grading of Astrocytomas
Thanh B. Nguyen,Greg O. Cron,K. Perdrizet,K. Bezzina,Carlos Torres,Santanu Chakraborty,John Woulfe,Gerard H. Jansen,John Sinclair,Rebecca E. Thornhill,C Foottit,Brandon Zanette,Ian Cameron +12 more
TL;DR: In the preoperative grading of astrocytomas, the diagnostic accuracy of dynamic contrast-enhanced MR imaging parameters is similar to that of relative CBV, and a phase-derived vascular input function and “bookend” T1 measurements with DSC MR imaging is used.
Journal ArticleDOI
Accelerated interleaved spiral-IDEAL imaging of hyperpolarized 129 Xe for parametric gas exchange mapping in humans.
Brandon Zanette,Giles E. Santyr +1 more
TL;DR: To demonstrate the feasibility of mapping gas exchange with single breath‐hold hyperpolarized (HP) 129Xe in humans, acquiring parametric maps of lung physiology is explored.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protocols for multi-site trials using hyperpolarized 129 Xe MRI for imaging of ventilation, alveolar-airspace size, and gas exchange: A position paper from the 129 Xe MRI clinical trials consortium.
Peter Niedbalski,Chase S. Hall,Mario Castro,Rachel L. Eddy,Jonathan H. Rayment,Sarah Svenningsen,Grace Parraga,Brandon Zanette,Giles E. Santyr,Robert P. Thomen,Neil J. Stewart,Guilhem Collier,Ho-Fung Chan,Jim M. Wild,Sean B. Fain,G. Wilson Miller,Jaime F. Mata,John P. Mugler,Bastiaan Driehuys,Matthew M. Willmering,Zackary I. Cleveland,Jason C. Woods +21 more
TL;DR: In this article, a position paper from the 129 Xe MRI Clinical Trials Consortium (https://cpir.cchmc.org/XeMRICTC) recommends standard protocols to harmonize methods for image acquisition in Hyperpolarized (HP) 129Xe MRI.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correlation of Tumor Immunohistochemistry with Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced and DSC-MRI Parameters in Patients with Gliomas
Thanh B. Nguyen,Greg O. Cron,K. Bezzina,K. Perdrizet,Carlos Torres,Santanu Chakraborty,John Woulfe,Gerard H. Jansen,Rebecca E. Thornhill,Brandon Zanette,Ian G. M. Cameron +10 more
TL;DR: With dynamic contrast-enhanced MR imaging, use of a phase-derived vascular input function and bookend T1 mapping improves the correlation between immunohistochemistry and plasma volume, but not between immunosorbentochemistry and the volume transfer constant.
