A simple synthesis of aplysinopsin analogues by dimethylamine substitution in N,N-(dimethylamino)methylidene derivatives of five-membered heterocycles

TL;DR: In this paper, aplysinopsin analogues were prepared by a simple coupling of N, N -(dimethylamino)methylidene substituted hydantoin, thiohydantoin and thiazolone derivatives, with indole derivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI

The synthesis of methyl 2-(benzyloxycarbonyl)amino-3-dimethylaminopropenoate. The synthesis of trisubstituted pyrroles, 3-amino-2H-pyran-2-ones, fused 2H-pyran-2-ones and 4H-pyridin-4-ones

TL;DR: Methyl 2-(benzyloxycarbonyl)aimno-3-dimemylaminopropenoate (2) was prepared from methyl N-(bensyloxy carbonyl)-glycinate (1) and t-butoxybis(dimethylamino)methane, and used as a reagent for preparation of substituted 3-amino compounds 7, 8, 20, 36, 38 and 53-57 in yields better than 80% as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

[2+2] Cycloaddition of electron-poor acetylenes to (E)-3-dimethylamino-1-heteroaryl-prop-2-en-1-ones: synthesis of highly functionalized 1-heteroaroyl-1,3-butadienes

TL;DR: Microwave-assisted cycloaddition of (E)-3-dimethylamino-1-heteroaryl-prop-2-en-1ones to dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylates gives (2E,3E)-dimethyl-2-[(dimethyamino)methylene]-3-(substituted)succinates in 8-91% yield as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Parallel solution-phase synthesis of (Z)-3-(arylamino)-2,3-dehydroalanine derivatives and solid-phase synthesis of fused pyrimidones.

TL;DR: N-Protected (Z)-3-(arylamino)-2,3-dehydroalanine esters 5 and 10 were prepared in one step from methyl (Z)2-acylamino-3-(dimethylamino)prop-2-enoates 3 and 9 and anilines 4 employing a parallel solution-phase synthetic approach.
