TL;DR: Radioimmunoassay is particularly suited to the measurement of low levels of apolipoprotein B, automated immunoprecipitation for large numbers of samples and rocket immunoelectrophoresis, when care is taken in the interpretation of results, for small numbers of sample.

The effect of a low-cholesterol, high-polyunsaturate diet on serum lipid levels, apolipoprotein B levels and triglyceride fatty acid composition.

TL;DR: Seven healthy normolipaemic men aged 28–46 years (mean 33 years) were studied for four weeks on their usual diet, and on an isocaloric diet, containing similar proportions of protein, carbohydrate and fat, but with a mean P : S ratio of approximately 2.82 and a cholesterol content of 112 mg/day.

TL;DR: The ratio of cholesterol to apo B in serum was decreased in types IIa, IIb and IV, and increased in type V whereas the ratio of triglyceride to api B in Serum was decreased, normal in type IIa and normal intype IIb, and increase in types IV and V.
