TL;DR: In this paper, a curved-crystal spectrometer has been used to measure the shell autoionization probability in the decay of the shell in the case of $K$-shell decay.
Abstract: The $K$-shell autoionization probability in the ${\ensuremath{\beta}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay of $^{114}\mathrm{In}$ has been measured using a curved-crystal spectrometer. A value of (5.4 \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} 0.4) \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ was obtained for the number of $K$-shell vacancies per ${\ensuremath{\beta}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay. This result is in excellent agreement with the theoretical value predicted by Law and Campbell, which is 5.42 \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$.[RADIOACTIVITY ${\ensuremath{\beta}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay of $^{114}\mathrm{In}$; measured ${P}_{K}$.]
