Journal ArticleDOI

Urinary Tamm-Horsfall protein, albumin, vitamin D-binding protein, and retinol-binding protein as early biomarkers of chronic kidney disease in dogs.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed SDS-PAGE and western blotting to determine the expression of albumin, vitamin D-binding proteins (VDBP), retinol-binding protein (RBP), and Tamm-Horsfall protein (THP) in urine samples of 49 dogs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Averaging theory at any order for computing limit cycles of discontinuous piecewise differential systems with many zones

TL;DR: In this paper, the existence of periodic solutions for a class of e -family of discontinuous differential systems with many zones was studied and it was shown that averaged functions at any order can control the crossing limit cycles for systems in this class.
Journal ArticleDOI

Limit cycles for a class of discontinuous piecewise generalized Kukles differential systems

TL;DR: In this article, an estimative to the number of limit cycles which bifurcate from the periodic orbits of the linear center is derived by the averaging method of first order when it is perturbed inside a class of discontinuous generalized Kukles differential systems defined in 2l-zones.
