Two new conformationally restricted 4,5-dihydroxynorvaline analogues with a norbornane skeleton.

TL;DR: The structures of two conformationally restricted 4,5-dihydroxynorvaline analogues with a norbornane skeleton, namely methyl (1S,2S,3R,4R)-2-benzamido-3-(1,2-di-Hydroxyethyl)bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2-carboxylate, C18H23NO5, and methyl
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of 1-Amino-4-hydroxycyclohexane-1-carboxylic Acids.

TL;DR: In this article, a new family of constrained 1-amino-4-hydroxycyclohexane-1-carboxylic acid (1 and 2) was achieved through selective transformations of the functional groups of the corresponding enone cycloadduct provided by the Diels-Alder cycloaddition of Danishefsky's diene to methyl 2-acetamidoacrylate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Asymmetric Synthesis of 2‐Aminonorbornane‐2‐carboxylic Acids by Diels‐ Alder Reaction.

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction between methyl N-acetyl-α,β-didehydroalaninate and cyclopentadiene in the presence of several chiral Lewis acids is studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and biological activity of dehydrophos derivatives

TL;DR: The synthesis of dehydrophos derivatives featuring modified peptide chains, characterized by the presence of substituents in the vinyl moiety, or possessing a phosphonic acid monoalkyl esters other than the monomethyl ester one, has been accomplished by a versatile procedure based on Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons olefination with suitable aldehydes and on the selective hydrolysis of the dialkyl phosphonate group.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reaction of Cyclopentadiene with (E)-2-Cyanocinnamate of (S)-Ethyl Lactate.

TL;DR: In this article, a model based on the presence of the cyano group is proposed to explain the results obtained in the reaction of 1 with cyclopentadiene with TiCl4 or in non-catalyzed reactions.
