TL;DR: This article examined Machiavellianism, trait perfectionism, and perfectionistic self-presentation in a sample of 483 university students (134 men; 349 women) and found that socially prescribed perfectionism mediated the association between Machiavellianism and perfectionism for both genders.

TL;DR: Women who had experienced both CSA by a significant other and prostitution showed the highest levels of traumatic stress, however, posttraumatic reexperiencing and avoidance and identity, relational, and affect regulation problems were significant for prostitution experiences even when the effects of CSA were controlled.
