Grafted dinuclear metal complexes, and use thereof as cellular microparticle sensors

TL;DR: Novel grafted dinuclear metal complexes having formula (I) or of formula (II) wherein M represents a metal ion, and also the use thereof as sensors in a method for detecting and/or characterising cellular microparticles are described in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural and redox properties in thioether-based (N/S) copper(II/I) complexes: Experimental and theoretical investigations

TL;DR: In this paper, the N2(SMe)2 ligand has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography, showing that the two complexes interconvert during the one electron transfer.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-valence CuIICuIII species in action: demonstration of aliphatic C-H bond activation at room temperature.

TL;DR: The electrochemically generated CuIICuIII mixed-valence species promotes activation of strong aliphatic C-H bonds (i.e. toluene) at room temperature, demonstrating that such high-Valence dicopper species can be key reactive intermediates in copper-based oxidative processes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ditopic Chelators of Dicopper Centers for Enhanced Tyrosinases Inhibition

TL;DR: In this work, derivatives containing kojic acid and 2-Hydroxypyridine- N -oxide combined with a thiosemicarbazone (TSC) moiety were synthetized and identified as interacting groups with the dicopper active site.
