Grafted dinuclear metal complexes, and use thereof as cellular microparticle sensors
TL;DR: Novel grafted dinuclear metal complexes having formula (I) or of formula (II) wherein M represents a metal ion, and also the use thereof as sensors in a method for detecting and/or characterising cellular microparticles are described in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and redox properties in thioether-based (N/S) copper(II/I) complexes: Experimental and theoretical investigations
Wassim Rammal,Hélène Jamet,Christian Philouze,Jean-Louis Pierre,Eric Saint-Aman,Catherine Belle +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the N2(SMe)2 ligand has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography, showing that the two complexes interconvert during the one electron transfer.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-valence CuIICuIII species in action: demonstration of aliphatic C-H bond activation at room temperature.
James A. Isaac,Aurore Thibon-Pourret,Amélie Durand,Christian Philouze,Nicolas Le Poul,Catherine Belle +5 more
TL;DR: The electrochemically generated CuIICuIII mixed-valence species promotes activation of strong aliphatic C-H bonds (i.e. toluene) at room temperature, demonstrating that such high-Valence dicopper species can be key reactive intermediates in copper-based oxidative processes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ditopic Chelators of Dicopper Centers for Enhanced Tyrosinases Inhibition
Elina Buitrago,Clarisse Faure,Lylia Challali,Elisabetta Bergantino,Ahcène Boumendjel,Luigi Bubacco,Marcello Carotti,Renaud Hardré,Marc Maresca,Christian Philouze,Hélène Jamet,Marius Réglier,Catherine Belle +12 more
TL;DR: In this work, derivatives containing kojic acid and 2-Hydroxypyridine- N -oxide combined with a thiosemicarbazone (TSC) moiety were synthetized and identified as interacting groups with the dicopper active site.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of ligand exchange on the one-electron oxidation process of alkoxo or phenoxo bridged binuclear copper(II) complexes
Federica Gennarini,Amélie Kochem,James A. Isaac,Ali-Taher Mansour,Isidoro López,Yves Le Mest,Aurore Thibon-Pourret,Bruno Faure,Hélène Jamet,Nicolas Le Poul,Catherine Belle,A. Jalila Simaan,Marius Réglier +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of methanol/methoxide on the structure and the mono-electronic oxidation process of two different dicopper(II,II) complexes was reported.
