Journal ArticleDOI
Posttransplant soluble B-cell activating factor kinetics in pediatric recipients of first kidney allograft.
Patrizia Comoli,Giuseppe Quartuccio,Michela Cioni,Angelica Parodi,Arcangelo Nocera,Sabrina Basso,Iris Fontana,Alberto Magnasco,Viviana Sioli,Ilaria Guido,Catherine Klersy,Marco Zecca,Massimo Cardillo,Gian Marco Ghiggeri,Fabrizio Ginevri +14 more
TL;DR: Findings provide evidence of early posttransplant B-cell activation even in unsensitized recipients of first kidney allograft, and suggest the usefulness of paired DSA-sBAFF monitoring in this clinical setting is questioned.
Journal ArticleDOI
Graphic data representation in anaesthesiological journals : A proposed methodology for assessment of appropriateness
TL;DR: The criteria applied in this study appear sufficiently sensitive to differentiate the quality of graphs.
Journal Article
Prednisone plus Methotrexate for Polymyalgia Rheumatica
Roberto Caporali,Marco A. Cimmino,Gianfranco Ferraccioli,Roberto Gerli,Catherine Klersy,Carlo Salvarani,Carlomaurizio Montecucco +6 more
TL;DR: Combining methotrexate with prednisone may decrease the need for long-term steroid therapy in polymyalgia rheumatica, and this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial to assess the efficacy and safety of Prednisone plus metotrexate in a larger group of patients was successful.

Journal Article
Pulmonary endarterectomy in chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension: short-term functional assessment in a longitudinal study.
Lucia Petrucci,Ettore Carlisi,S. Ricotti,Catherine Klersy,Andrea Maria D'Armini,Mario Viganò,E. Dalla Toffola +6 more
TL;DR: The 6mWT resulted to be a useful tool in the functional evaluation of patients affected by CTEPH and submitted to PEA, thus reaching the minimum limit of the range predicted for the healthy control, but remains lower than the average theoretical value predicted.
