Formulation of lipid core nanocapsules

TL;DR: In this paper, a supramolecular model for a new kind of nanocapsule prepared with triacylglycerol, sorbitan monostearate (SM), polyester and polysorbate 80.
Journal ArticleDOI

An algorithm to determine the mechanism of drug distribution in lipid-core nanocapsule formulations

TL;DR: The use of the algorithm developed in this study represents a simple and rapid approach through which it was possible to experimentally determine the drug distribution in colloidal formulations for eight drug models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Methotrexate-loaded lipid-core nanocapsules are highly effective in the control of inflammation in synovial cells and a chronic arthritis model.

TL;DR: Evaluating if methotrexate-loaded lipid-core nanocapsules (MTX-LNC) reduce proinflammatory and T-cell-derived cytokines in activated mononuclear cells derived from RA patients and even in functional MTX-resistant conditions shows that MTX -LNC are a very promising system for the treatment of RA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bromelain-Functionalized Multiple-Wall Lipid-Core Nanocapsules: Formulation, Chemical Structure and Antiproliferative Effect Against Human Breast Cancer Cells (MCF-7)

TL;DR: The surface functionalization approach produced an innovative formulation having a much higher anti-proliferative effect than the bromelain solution, even though both in vitro proteolytic activity were similar, opening up a great opportunity for further studies in nanomedicine.
