Maximum Power Point Tracking using Fuzzy Logic Control for Photovoltaic Systems
TL;DR: A modified Fuzzy algorithm is proposed for MPPT of the PV system in order to enhance its performance, in transient and steady state, and robustness and accelerate the recovery time due to a sudden change in the connected load.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative study of lighting quality and power quality for LED and HPS luminaires in a roadway lighting system
Suntiti Yoomak,Chaiyan Jettanasen,Atthapol Ngaopitakkul,Sulee Bunjongjit,Monthol Leelajindakrairerk +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, an initial and in-depth assessment of LED technology for roadway lighting applications is presented, which focuses on the performance of LED luminaires compared with the existing standard of HPS cobra-head lamps in terms of lighting quality, energy savings, power quality, and investment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Harmonics and Reduction of Energy Consumption in Lighting Systems by Using LED Lamps
TL;DR: In this article, the harmonics, energy consumption and power quality of light emitting diode (LED) lamps equipped in building lighting systems are investigated using an experimental setup to compare the results.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of Micro-Mobility Based on Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting for Smart City Applications
TL;DR: The piezoelectric energy harvesting system has sufficient potential for application as a renewable energy source that can be used with low power equipment and is used on bicycles as a micro-mobility, light electric utility vehicle with smart operation, providing a novel approach to smart city design.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Power quality analysis of grid connected solar power inverter
TL;DR: In this article, the characteristics of harmonics on grid, PV system, and load were studied and the result showed that most grid's harmonics are affected from PV system and load when the inverter power up to almost the rated power.
