Proceedings ArticleDOI

Toward “quantum supremacy” with photons

TL;DR: In this article, a single-photon source was developed that simultaneously combines high purity, efficiency, and indistinguishability, and entanglement was demonstrated among 12 single photons.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Optical Readout of Quantum Dot Electron Spin

TL;DR: In this paper, the intermittency of resonance fluorescence from a quantum dot molecule was monitored to perform optical single-shot measurements of a resident electron's spin orientation, and two-laser experiments confirmed the conditionality of the Resonance fluorescence on the spin orientation.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Quantum dot-micropillars: A bright source of coherent single photons

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the efficient generation of coherent single photons based on quantum dots in micropillars using a scalable lithography scheme leading to quantum dot-micropillar devices with 74% extraction efficiency.
