Efficacy, Safety, and Immunogenicity of an Escherichia coli-Produced Bivalent Human Papillomavirus Vaccine: An Interim Analysis of a Randomized Clinical Trial
You-Lin Qiao,Ting Wu,Rong-Cheng Li,Yuemei Hu,Lihui Wei,Changgui Li,Wen Chen,Shoujie Huang,Fang-Hui Zhao,Mingqiang Li,Qin-Jing Pan,Xun Zhang,Qing Li,Ying Hong,Chao Zhao,Wen-hua Zhang,Yanping Li,Kai Chu,Mei Li,Yun-Fei Jiang,Juan Li,Hui Zhao,Zhijie Lin,Xuelian Cui,Wen-Yu Liu,Caihong Li,Dong-Ping Guo,Li-Dong Ke,Xin Wu,Jie Tang,Guo-Qi Gao,Ba-Yi Li,Bin Zhao,Fengxian Zheng,Cui-Hong Dai,Meng Guo,Jun Zhao,Yingying Su,Junzhi Wang,Fengcai Zhu,Shaowei Li,Huirong Pan,Yimin Li,Jun Zhang,Ningshao Xia +44 more
TL;DR: The Escherichia coli-produced HPV- 16/18 vaccine is well tolerated and highly efficacious against HPV-16/18 associated high-grade genital lesions and persistent infection in women.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prevalence of type-specific human papillomavirus and pap results in Chinese women: a multi-center, population-based cross-sectional study
En Qi Wu,Bin Liu,Jian Feng Cui,Wen Chen,Jianbing Wang,Liang Lu,Mayineur Niyazi,Chao Zhao,Sheng Da Ren,Chang Qing Li,Xiang Zhen Gong,Jennifer S. Smith,Jerome L. Belinson,Kai Li Liaw,Christine Velicer,You-Lin Qiao +15 more
TL;DR: Although HPV18 appeared to be less frequent among population-based samples of China, given the high prevalence of HPV 16 and 18 in high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL) or worse pap abnormalities, prophylactic HPV16/18 vaccines should substantially reduce the burden of cervical cancer in China.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic factors of oncological and reproductive outcomes in fertility-sparing treatment of complex atypical hyperplasia and low-grade endometrial cancer using oral progestin in Chinese patients.
Rong Zhou,Yuan Yang,Qun Lu,Jianliu Wang,Ya-li Miao,Shi-jun Wang,Zhiqi Wang,Chao Zhao,Li-hui Wei +8 more
TL;DR: Oral progestin is an effective fertility-sparing treatment for women with CAH/G1EC in China and patients with elevated HbA1C receiving both metformin and progest in were more likely to achieve complete response (CR), whereas those with PCOS were not.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of TERC amplification in cervical epithelial cells for the diagnosis of high-grade cervical lesions and invasive cancer: a multicenter study in China.
Jing Jiang,Li Hui Wei,Ya Li Li,Rui Fang Wu,Xing Xie,You Ji Feng,Guo Zhang,Chao Zhao,Yun Zhao,Zhong Chen +9 more
TL;DR: TERC amplification represents a valuable genetic biomarker, which in combination with an evaluation of cytology or HPV testing, can achieve higher sensitivity and specificity in distinguishing high-grade cervical lesions and invasive cancers from low-grade lesions compared with conventional methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sorting and identification of side population cells in the human cervical cancer cell line HeLa.
TL;DR: SP cells possess some characteristics of CSCs, namely high proliferation ability, chemoresistance and radioresistance, which may be helpful to elucidate novel targets for effective clinical treatments of cervical cancer in the future.
