Further extensions of FIPA Contract Net Protocol: threshold plus DoA

TL;DR: Two further extensions to CNP by the ideas of Threshold and Degree of Availability (DoA) are made, which might become another feasible way to increase system effectiveness and efficiency.
Journal Article

Distributed Coordination Reasoning with BDI and Knowledge Level

TL;DR: This paper proposed a way of modeling coordination problem on coordination knowledge level in order to implement (coordination) reasoning of BDI agent, and presented this framework in an individual agent, which proved the possibility to transform formal coordination models to computational models.
Journal Article

A bayesian network approach to accident analysis

TL;DR: A three-layered Bayesian network topological model is proposed on the basis of risk factor-accident-acc accident hazards according to accident-causing theory and the feasibility and effectiveness of this accident analysis method is illuminated through a practical analysis example of a natural gas spherical tank.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exploiting object-oriented methodologies to model MAS on organizations

TL;DR: This paper uses a distributed logistics management system (DLMS) as an example and describes a method to model MAS based on extended UML from the following three aspects: extracting roles for agent organizations based on the theory of use cases, portraying the static organizational structures of MAS and extending collaboration diagrams, sequence diagrams and state chart diagrams to portray the interactive behaviors among agent roles.

A Modeling Method of MAS Based on Extended UML

TL;DR: A modeling method of MAS based on extended UML in three aspects, i.e., the definition of roles in an agent organization, the depiction of its static structure and the description of dynamic behaviors is given.
