Improving flotation separation of apatite from dolomite using PAMS as a novel eco-friendly depressant

TL;DR: In this paper, the depression performance of poly (acrylic acid-co-maleic acid) sodium salt (PAMS) acting as a new depressant was evaluated via the flotation experiments, when sodium oleate (NaOl) was employed as the collector.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interactions between fine and coarse hematite particles in aqueous suspension and their implications for flotation

TL;DR: In this paper, the interaction energies and aggregation tendencies between fine and coarse hematite particles were investigated, and their effects on the flotation of the hematites using sodium oleate as a collector were studied through micro-flotation tests, supplemented by optical microscopic analysis, extended Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek (EDLVO) theoretical analysis, and focused beam reflectance measurement (FBRM) particle/aggregate size analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

An investigation of the mechanism of using iron chelate as a collector during scheelite flotation

TL;DR: In this article, a new iron chelate reagent that consists of ferric chloride (FeCl3) and BHA by changing the conventional dosing sequence of FeCl3 was developed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of the Mechanism of the Fe-BHA Chelates in Scheelite Flotation

TL;DR: In this paper , Fe-BHA, a new collector containing the iron complex, was studied to investigate its flotation ability of scheelite, as well as its BHA/FeCl3 ratio on scheelsite flotations.

Fluorapatite purification method and method for preparing fluorohydroxyapatite bioceramic thereof

TL;DR: In this paper, a fluorapatite purification method and a method for preparing a fluorohydroxyapatitite bioceramic is described. But the method is not suitable for the use of human body hard tissue substitute material.
