Direct Arylation of Unactivated Alkanes with Heteroarenes by Visible-Light Catalysis

TL;DR: This reaction features good functional group tolerance and broad scope with regard to both alkanes and heteroarene substrates, which allows direct access to alkyl-substituted N-heteroarenes, a key structural motifs in natural products and bioactive molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalytic Asymmetric Conjugate Addition of Indolizines to Unsatu-rated Ketones Catalyzed by Chiral-at-metal Complexes

TL;DR: A highly enantioselective conjugate addition of indolizine and its analogues with α,β-unsaturated 2-acyl imidazoles have been developed in the presence of 1.0 mol % of Δ-Rh1.
Journal ArticleDOI

CuBi2O4/CuO Heterojunction Coated with Electrodeposited ZnO Overlayer for Stable Solar Hydrogen Evolution

TL;DR: In this paper , a layer of amorphous ZnO is coated on the surface of CuBi2O4/CuO heterojunction photocathodes by an electrodeposition method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amine-Free, Directing-Group-Free and Redox-Neutral α-Alkylation of Saturated Cyclic Ketones.

TL;DR: In this article , the first α-alkylation of cyclic ketones in the absence of amine catalyst and directing group is presented, where an α-carbon radical intermediate is formed through direct and selective activation of inert α-C-H bond of ketones chelating on the surface of colloidal quantum dots (QDs) catalyst.
