Selective Iodine-Catalyzed Intermolecular Oxidative Amination of C(sp3)H Bonds with ortho-Carbonyl-Substituted Anilines to Give Quinazolines†

TL;DR: An iodine-catalyzed intermolecular oxidative amination of a C(sp) H bond adjacent to the nitrogen or oxygen atom of N-alkylamides, ethers, or alcohols with ortho-carbonyl-substituted anilines is reported, the first example of using a combination of inorganic nitrogen sources and organic solvents for the formation of hetercycles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalyst and additive-free regioselective oxidative C–H thio/selenocyanation of arenes and heteroarenes with elemental sulfur/selenium and TMSCN

TL;DR: A regioselective oxidative C-H thio/selenocyanation of arenes and heteroarenes with TMSCN and elemental sulfur/selenium was demonstrated under catalyst-free and additive-free conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Copper-Promoted Double Oxidative C-H Amination Cascade for the Synthesis of Imidazo[1,5-a]quinolines.

TL;DR: A copper-promoted cascade reaction of 2-methylazaarenes and benzylamines has been developed via sequential double oxidative C(sp(3))-H aminations, providing straightforward access to imidazo[1,5-a]quinoline derivatives without employing prefunctionalized substrates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molten salt synthesis of sodium lithium titanium oxide anode material for lithium ion batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of Na2Li2Ti6O14 has been investigated by a molten salt synthesis method using sodium chloride and potassium chloride mixture as a flux medium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cerium(III)-catalyzed cascade cyclization: an efficient approach to functionalized pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinolines.

TL;DR: This protocol features readily available starting materials, operational simplicity and high regioselectivity to access multifunctionalized pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinolines with the formation of multiple C-C and C-N bonds in one pot.
