First order decision diagrams for relational MDPs

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a representation for decision diagrams suitable for describing value functions, transition probabilities, and domain dynamics of First Order or Relational MDPs (FOMDPs).
Journal ArticleDOI

First order decision diagrams for relational MDPs

TL;DR: The paper develops First Order Decision Diagrams (FODD), a new compact representation for functions over relational structures, together with a set of operators to combine FODDs, and novel reduction techniques to keep the representation small.
Proceedings Article

Relational partially observable MDPs

TL;DR: This paper provides a concrete formalization of relational POMDPs making several technical contributions toward their solution, and provides a symbolic dynamic programing algorithm for finite horizon relational MDPs, solving them at an abstract level by lifting the propositional incremental pruning algorithm.
Proceedings Article

Policy iteration for relational MDPs

TL;DR: In this article, a variant of the value iteration algorithm for relational Markov Decision Processes is presented, which includes an aspect of policy improvement in the process of policy evaluation and thus differs from the original algorithm.

Policy Iteration for Relational MDPs

TL;DR: A variant of policy iteration that includes an aspect of policy improvement in the process of policy evaluation and thus differs from the original algorithm and it is shown that despite this difference the algorithm converges to the optimal policy.
