Image dense matching based on region growth with adaptive window
Li Tang,Chengke Wu,Zezhi Chen +2 more
TL;DR: A new and efficient dense matching algorithm is presented based on region growth, which can be applied to a wide range of image pairs including those with large disparity or without rectification, and the results demonstrate its accuracy and efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance analysis of flexible hierarchical cellular systems with a bandwidth-efficient handoff scheme
Bo Li,Chengke Wu,Akira Fukuda +2 more
TL;DR: It is shown through extensive comparisons with other candidate handoff strategies that if the total traffic load of the system is not very heavy, this scheme has the best bandwidth efficiency and can provide better quality of service for mobile subscribers without bringing too much processing expense to the system.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new image rectification algorithm
TL;DR: A novel and efficient image rectification method using the fundamental matrix is proposed, and it shows that much more accurate matches of feature points can be obtained for a pair of images after the proposed rectification.
Journal ArticleDOI
A network coding based hybrid ARQ algorithm for wireless video broadcast
TL;DR: Simulation results show that the proposed network coding (NC) based hybrid ARQ (HARQ) algorithm significantly improves both wireless throughput efficiency and video quality, compared with ARQ and HARQ schemes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lossy to lossless compressions of hyperspectral images using three-dimensional set partitioning algorithm
Jiaji Wu,Zhensen Wu,Chengke Wu +2 more
TL;DR: This work presents a three-dimensional (3-D) hyperspectral image compression algorithm based on zero-block coding and wavelet transforms that achieves the best lossless performance and supports progressive transmission.
