Journal ArticleDOI

Biohydrogen production from soluble condensed molasses fermentation using anaerobic fermentation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a bio-hydrogen production technology from food wastewater focusing on hydrogen production efficiency and micro-flora community at different hydraulic retention times using Soluble condensed molasses fermentation (CMS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Clostridium strain co-cultures for biohydrogen production enhancement from condensed molasses fermentation solubles

TL;DR: Three hydrogen-producing bacterial strains were isolated from the seed fermentor and used as the seeding microbes in single and mixed-culture cultivations for determining their hydrogen productivity and efficiently enhanced hydrogen production by 12–220% depending on the substrate CMS concentrations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular monitoring of microbes in a continuous hydrogen-producing system with different hydraulic retention time

TL;DR: An anaerobic continuous-flow fermentation system with condensed molasses fermentation soluble (CMS) from monosodium glutamate production as substrate was developed for the biohydrogen production and showed that except HRT 3 h, two clusters of clostridial hydrogenase gene sequences were obtained.
