TL;DR: In this paper , a meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy for detecting asymptomatic malaria infection in Asian countries is presented. But, the authors found that the diagnostic accuracies in all these studies were verified by PCR and the pooled sensitivity of RDT, as well as microscopy for detection of any malaria parasites in any malaria patients, were low.
