Magnetic moments of low-lying states in tin isotopes within the nucleon-pair approximation
TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic moments of the first excited 2(+) state in even-even nuclei Sn102-130 and the low-lying yrast states in odd-mass nuclei SN-101-109,Sn-123-131 are calculated within the framework of the nucleon-pair approximation (NPA) of the shell model, by using the standard multipole-multipole interaction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isospin asymmetry effects in mirror nuclei with modern charge-dependent NN potential
TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of T = 1 / 2 mirror nuclei in the lower fp shell have been investigated with a microscopic isospin-nonconserving effective Hamiltonian, derived from a high-precision charge-dependent Bonn nucleon-nucleon potential using the G -matrix folded-diagram renormalization method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lifetime measurement of the first excited 2+ state in 112Te
Maria Doncel,Torbjörn Bäck,D. M. Cullen,D. Hodge,Chong Qi,Bo Cederwall,Michael Taylor,M. G. Procter,Kalle Auranen,Tuomas Grahn,Paul Greenlees,Ulrika Jakobsson,Rauno Julin,Sakari Juutinen,Andrej Herzan,Joonas Konki,Matti Leino,Janne Pakarinen,Jari Partanen,Pauli Peura,Panu Rahkila,Panu Ruotsalainen,Mikael Sandzelius,Jan Sarén,Catherine Scholey,Juha Sorri,Sanna Stolze,Juha Uusitalo +27 more
TL;DR: The lifetime of the 2(+) --> 0(g.s.)(+) transition in the neutron-deficicient nucleus Te-112 has been measured for the first time using the DPUNS plunger and the recoil distance Doppler shift.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coherence features of the spin-aligned neutron?proton pair coupling scheme
TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that the spin-aligned np interaction may favor a new kind of coupling in N = Z nuclei, i.e., the so-called isoscalar spinaligned np pair mode.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular structure of highly excited resonant states in Mg 24 and the corresponding Be 8 + O 16 and C 12 + C 12 decays
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the decay widths of high-lying resonances in {sup 24}Mg using a cluster model and found that the calculated widths are sensitive to the angular momentum carried by the outgoing cluster.
