Geochemical and Nd isotopic compositions of 3.8 Ga meta-quartz dioritic and trondhjemitic rocks from the Anshan area and their geological significance
TL;DR: The 3.8-Ga meta-quartz dioritic rocks discovered recently in the Anshan area show relatively high ∑REE contents and low (La/Yb) n ratios, with t DM of 3.50-4.16 and ǫ Nd of −1.24 to 4.51 as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Early Neoarchean (∼2.7 Ga) tectono-thermal events in the North China Craton: A synthesis
Yusheng Wan,Shiwen Xie,Chonghui Yang,Alfred Kröner,Mingzhu Ma,Chunyan Dong,Lilin Du,Hangqiang Xie,Dunyi Liu +8 more
TL;DR: The North China Craton (NCC) is characterized by major ∼2.5 Ga tectono-thermal events and is thus different from many other cratons worldwide where ∼ 2.7 Ga events are well developed as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
The age of the base of the paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group in the Wutai Mountains area, North China Craton: SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of basaltic andesite
TL;DR: In this paper, the SHRIMP results on basaltic andesite are divided into two groups and interpreted as the eruption age of the base of the Hutuo Group, which is consistent with the basement crustal age in Fuping and Wutai areas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Delineation of the ca. 2.7 Ga TTG gneisses in the Zanhuang Complex, North China Craton and its geological implications
TL;DR: In this article, a suite of banded TTG gneisses from the Zanhuang Complex was delineated, which is intimately associated with melanocratic dioritic and leucocratic trondhjemitic veins.
Journal ArticleDOI
Paleoproterozoic rifting of the North China Craton: Geochemical and zircon Hf isotopic evidence from the 2137 Ma Huangjinshan A-type granite porphyry in the Wutai area
Lilin Du,Chonghui Yang,Wei Wang,Liudong Ren,Yusheng Wan,Jiashan Wu,Lei Zhao,Huixia Song,Yuansheng Geng,Kejun Hou +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Huangjinshan granite porphyry in the Wutai area, North China Craton (NCC) yielded concordant ages, with a weighted mean 207 Pb/ 206 Pb age of 2137-±-9-Ma, which indicates that the granite was emplaced in the middle Paleoproterozoic.
