Nonlinear bending of polymer nanocomposite beams reinforced with non-uniformly distributed graphene platelets (GPLs)

TL;DR: In this paper, the nonlinear bending behavior of a novel class of multi-layer polymer nanocomposite beams reinforced with graphene platelets (GPLs) that are non-uniformly distributed along the thickness direction was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonlinear free vibration of functionally graded polymer composite beams reinforced with graphene nanoplatelets (GPLs)

TL;DR: In this paper, the nonlinear free vibration of a multi-layer polymer nanocomposite beam reinforced by graphene platelets (GPLs) non-uniformly distributed along the thickness direction is studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Eigenvalue buckling of functionally graded cylindrical shells reinforced with graphene platelets (GPL)

TL;DR: In this paper, the eigenvalue buckling of functionally graded graphene platelets (GPLs) reinforced cylindrical shells consisting of multiple layers through finite element method (FEM) was determined by modified Halpin-Tsai model and rule of mixture.
Journal ArticleDOI

Torsional buckling of graphene platelets (GPLs) reinforced functionally graded cylindrical shell with cutout

TL;DR: In this article, the torsional buckling of functionally graded cylindrical shells reinforced with graphene platelets (GPLs) through finite element method (FEM) was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of Graphene Nanoplatelet Size and Surface Area on the AC Electrical Conductivity and Dielectric Constant of Epoxy Nanocomposites.

TL;DR: The variations of the electrical conductivity and dielectric constant with the GNP concentration and AC frequency are correlated with the measured interfiller spacing and GNP diameter, and this trend is also observed for varying the processed GNP surface area.
