Mass transfer enhancement during CO2 absorption process in methanol/Al2O3 nanofluids

TL;DR: In this paper, the mass transfer characteristics during CO 2 bubble absorption and diffusion processes in nanofluid with Al 2 O 3 nanoparticles were analyzed and the effect of the nanoparticles on mass transfer enhancement was measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel type solar assisted heat pump using a low GWP refrigerant (R-1233zd(E)) with the flexible solar collector

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of the novel type solar assisted heat pump system using a low GWP refrigerant (R-1233zd(E)) with the flexible solar collector is investigated by experiments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characteristics on condensation heat transfer and pressure drop for a low GWP refrigerant in brazed plate heat exchanger

TL;DR: In this paper, experimental studies are conducted to investigate the characteristics of condensation heat transfer and frictional pressure drop for R-1233zd(E) refrigerants under partial condensation conditions in a plate heat exchanger to measure temperature, pressure and mass flow rate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on ammonia/water hybrid absorption/compression heat pump cycle to produce high temperature process water

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the heat transfer characteristics during the ammonia water absorption process for the hybrid absorption/compression heat pump system application, and found that the increases in the high pressure and ammonia weak solution flow rate have positive effects on the absorber heat transfer rate, whereas the increase in the weak solution concentration does negative effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal performance estimation of ammonia-water plate bubble absorbers for compression/absorption hybrid heat pump application

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the heat transfer characteristics during the NH 3 -H 2 O absorption process in plate heat exchangers and developed the experimental correlations of heat transfer coefficient for the compression/absorption hybrid heat pump application.
