TL;DR: An adaptation of the methodology used by Starfield and Shy (2002) to assess the quality of health care in the municipalities which joined the Mais Medicos (More Doctors) Program did not reveal anything significant, however the averages of the evaluated indicators were better in the group of municipalities characterized through having the best APS scores.

Motivational Interviewing in the Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Arterial Hypertension in Primary Health Care: An RCT

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the effectiveness of motivational interviewing in the management of Type 2 diabetes and arterial hypertension in primary health care and found that motivational interviewing was useful in reducing HbA1c levels in diabetes management.
