A Mixed Interval Power Flow Analysis Under Rectangular and Polar Coordinate System

TL;DR: In this paper, a Rectangular Interval Power Flow (RIPF) method is proposed to improve solutions for intervals of power flow problems due to nondeterministic characteristics of demand loads and output of generators.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Interval Power Flow Analysis Through Optimizing-Scenarios Method

TL;DR: A novel optimizing-scenarios method (OSM) is envisaged in this paper to solve interval power flow problem to obtain more accurate results, and the overall simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed OSM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Risk-Based Uncertainty Set Optimization Method for Energy Management of Hybrid AC/DC Microgrids With Uncertain Renewable Generation

TL;DR: A novel risk-based uncertainty set optimization method for the energy management of typical hybrid AC/DC microgrids, where RPG outputs are considered as the major uncertainties, and effectively solved using a high-performance solver.
Journal ArticleDOI

Robust fixed-time sliding mode control for fractional-order nonlinear hydro-turbine governing system

TL;DR: A robust sliding mode controller is proposed to force the FOHTGS to reach the equilibrium point based on the fixed-time stability and Lyapunov stability theories, which can guarantee the superior stabilization of FOHT GS with the bounded and quantifiable convergence time, and thus overcome the drawback of finite-time controllers whose convergence characteristics are heavily dependent on the initial conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactive Power Optimization Under Interval Uncertainty by the Linear Approximation Method and Its Modified Method

TL;DR: The linear approximation method is formulated using the interval Taylor extension to help solve reactive power optimization problem and the affine arithmetic-based power flow calculation is used to solve the interval power flow equation instead of crude computation based on the interval arithmetic.
