Effective Approaches to Improve the Electrical Conductivity of PEDOT:PSS: A Review

TL;DR: In this article, various physical and chemical approaches that can effectively improve the electrical conductivity of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS) are summarized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of organic solvent-assisted exfoliated MoS2 for optimizing the thermoelectric performance of flexible PEDOT:PSS thin films

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors suggest a simple way to address this issue through the addition of a small amount of liquid phase exfoliated MoS2 nanosheets into poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) solutions by direct vacuum filtration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Liquid Exfoliated Graphene as Dopant for Improving the Thermoelectric Power Factor of Conductive PEDOT:PSS Nanofilm with Hydrazine Treatment.

TL;DR: A highly conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) nanofilm via vacuum filtration with enhanced thermoelectric power factor by doping of liquid exfoliated graphene (GE) and hydrazine treatment is fabricated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Present and future thermoelectric materials toward wearable energy harvesting

TL;DR: This paper reviews recent developments of TE materials toward flexible or wearable energy harvesting based on film- and fiber-based materials and remaining challenges and perspectives of flexible devices are examined to suggest for practical application toward wearableEnergy harvesting.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly conducting free-standing poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/poly(styrenesulfonate) films with improved thermoelectric performances

TL;DR: In this article, a free-standing poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT/PSS) films with room-temperature electrical conductivity of about 300 S cm−1 were successfully prepared from PEDOT and PSS solution containing additives (DMSO or EG) on the smooth and flexible polypropylene (PP) film substrate with contact angle of 87°.
