Palaeoenvironments of the Permian–Triassic transition sections in Kashmir, India

TL;DR: In this article, detailed measurements of two Permian-Triassic boundary sections at Guryul Ravine and Pahlgam in Kashmir indicate continuous sedimentation across the boundary, though with a marked change from shallow storm-influenced shelf to deeper shelf below wave base.
Journal ArticleDOI

Proterozoic transcurrent movements along the Kapuskasing lineament (Superior Province, Canada) and their relationship to surrounding structures

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a new model to explain the Kapuskasing Structural Zone (KSZ) and James Bay and found that these displacements and the rifting of James Bay were caused as a result of 160 km of left-lateral motion between East and West Superior Terranes with an accompanying 5° of anticlockwise rotation of the West Superior Terrane.
