With the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing importance of e-commerce, the study of online consumer behavior is of particular relevance. The purpose of this study was to form a methodological approach to assess the relationships and the level of influence of the factors activating the purchasing behavior of online consumers against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research methodology was based on the transformation of Cattell’s questionnaire and the implementation of correlation analysis. To determine the predisposition of online consumer behavior at the time of making a purchase decision, this study used the questionnaire method. The survey was conducted among online shoppers in the top 10 countries in terms of e-commerce market growth. The scientific contribution is the proposed methodological toolkit to assess the purchasing behavior of online consumers, which identifies the most influential factors in their purchasing behavior and provides an opportunity to assess the dynamics of their activity during the study period, to identify key trends and determine changes in their behavior. The research revealed what changes in online consumer buying behavior are typical in the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact of consumer awareness and experience has increased. Online consumers have become more experienced, which has influenced the activity of their buying behavior. This study proved the shifting influence of online consumer purchasing behavior factors during the pandemic. The increasing importance of the speed of decision making by consumers when purchasing goods and services online was determined.

This article aims to analyze the relationship between the threat of ransomware and new effective counteraction principles for law enforcement agencies to utilize. Moreover, it contemplates on how specific behavior of persons can help reduce the threat of being infected with this malicious software. It establishes that certain changes made in society’s mentality towards their computer and network systems can significantly reduce the consequent damages of ransomware attacks. The manuscript uses a qualitative research approach and the analysis of variance (ANOVA), including an F-test, which defines major challenges in ransomware. This is the first empirical research piece which uses this type of data and approach for the analysis of current threats in global ransomware security. The article suggests that the main challenge is the systematic growth of ransomware connected to illegal businesses and the inattentive actions of casual users. The research paper proposes the implementation of global ransomware counteraction principles on the base of challenges that are present now and the prospects of rising threats in the future. In addition, the manuscript analyzes the trends of the last 2-years of attacks to find and determine new ways of successfully counteracting it for optimal innovative regional development.

The social and legislative principles of counteracting ransomware crime

The study presents collected data on cryptocurrency prices’ average growth rates and average rates of decline in relation to Bitcoin price volatility. An analysis was conducted, which researched the correlation of Bitcoin price in conjunction with other cryptocurrencies, such as Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Dash and Monero. This analysis confirmed the absolute correlation of Bitcoin and its prices with altcoins. Average positive and negative growth rates of altcoins in relation to Bitcoin were determined and identified. Results illustrate that out of the sampled five cryptocurrencies, only three demonstrate substantial price growth rates in comparison with Bitcoin. This research can have a significant impact on the formation of diversified portfolios of crypto-assets, increasing the awareness and knowledge of market participants, and, furthermore, allow them to more effectively control investment risks. #COMESYSO1120.

Effect of Bitcoin Volatility on Altcoins Pricing

Designing a typical microcircuit for multi-core chips includes the development of the overall system architecture as well as the creation of single-chip multiprocessor systems, which house a set of interrelated nodes. To evaluate the complexity and power consumption of these multiprocessor systems, adequate models and methods are required. A simplified model for calculating heat dissipation in conductors suits this purpose completely. The preliminary settlement of the heat dissipation parameter will allow engineers to evaluate the on-chip interconnect topology at the early stages of design so that these interconnects comply with the power dissipation and the power consumption variables. The novelty of this approach lies in the fact that it allows modeling thermal stresses that take place inside the chip. A solver applied here enables numerical solution to differential equations that is theoretically best, i.e., a direct numerical solution. In addition, it overcame the Gibbs phenomenon by incorporating more natural, not sharp boundary conditions into the model. Here, this approach was applied to the multiprocessor system design that implies the integration of processor cores in a single chip package.

Model for estimating power dissipation along the interconnect length in single on-chip topology

This article describes the inertial measuring device IMU, as well as its use in airborne laser scanning and digital aerial photography. This device is used during the operation of a scanning unit and an aerial photo camera. The structure of an additional connection for a digital video camera is proposed, which will record video together with the GPS and IMU data stream. Also, conclusions are given about the quality of output data that affect a final product in engineering surveys.

It can be divided into two broad categories: external (intercity) and internal (in-city). In this context, the importance of transfer hubs should be emphasized as they assist in redistribution of passenger flows in between different types of transport, thus optimizing the transportation process. It is worth mentioning that the safety of transport infrastructure is critical in preserving the stability of the transportation system as any disturbance to it might cause not only severe economic losses but most importantly deaths of civilians due to terrorist attacks, car crashes or other related accidents. Current paper focuses on description of methods to provide the safety of transport system utilizing technologies related to three-dimensional laser scanning that uses algorithms and artificial intelligence to process data and aid in decision making.
