Fatigue Life Behaviour of Glass/Kenaf Woven-Ply Polymer Hybrid Biocomposites

TL;DR: In this paper, the fatigue life of a glass/kenaf woven-ply hybrid composite with thermoplastic and thermoset polymer matrix was investigated, and the tensile strength and fatigue strength of the kenaf/glass/kenaf composite have been identified to be significantly lower than those of the glass composite regardless of the types of matrix used.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of mechanisms responsible for the formation of dark spots in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs): A review

TL;DR: In this article, the root cause of dark spots in organic light emitting diode (OLED) devices has been investigated and a few prevention steps have been discussed in order to reduce and prevent the dark spots from occurring such as proper material selection and conducting the fabrication process in a controlled environment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanical properties of polypropylene composites reinforced with alkaline treated pineapple leaf fibre from Josapine cultivar

TL;DR: In this article, the mechanical properties of high impact polypropylene composite reinforced with pineapple leaf fibre from the Josapine cultivar as a function of======fibre loading were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

The application of TRIZ on natural fibre metal laminate to reduce the weight of the car front hood

TL;DR: The application of the TRIZ method is applied to solve several problems that may occur during the utilisation of natural fibre metal laminate as the car front hood to reduce the weight of the vehicle.
Journal ArticleDOI

Natural fibre filament for Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM): a review

TL;DR: Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) gets the most attention in development and manufacturing industries as discussed by the authors. And the demand for FDM in industries increases gradually over time and attracts many researchers to...
