Fatigue and the prediction of negative health outcomes: A systematic review with meta-analysis.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis on the relationship between fatigue and negative health outcomes in community-dwelling older adults and found that fatigue is related to an increased risk for the occurrence of all studied health outcomes (range OR 1299-3094; HR/RR 1038-1471); for example, mortality OR 214 [174-263]; HR/HR 144 [128-162]), the development disabilities in basic activities of daily living (OR 322 [205-538]), or the occurrence with physical decline (OR 142 [129
