β asymmetry parameter in the decay of 114In

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of scattering and magnetic field on the asymmetry of the Gamow-Teller decay of a nuclear {beta} transition was investigated. And the results of the GEANT4-based simulation code were shown to be in agreement with the Standard Model prediction of A-tilde=-0.994{+-}0.010{sub stat}{+-+ − − − 0.010
Journal ArticleDOI

Confirmation of parity violation in the γ decay of 180 Hf m

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported measurements made using the technique of online nuclear orientation which reexamine the ε-gamma decay of the isomeric decay in the CERN online isotope mass separator (ISOLDE) facility.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hyperfine Field and Hyperfine Anomalies of Copper Impurities in Iron

TL;DR: In this article, a new value for the hyperfine magnetic field of copper impurities in iron was obtained by combining resonance frequencies from experiments involving {beta}-NMR on oriented nuclei on {sup 59}Cu, {sup 69}Cu and {sup 71}Cu with magnetic moment values from collinear laser spectroscopy measurements on these isotopes.
