TL;DR: The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) as a local salvage treatment after incomplete transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for inoperable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Journal ArticleDOI
Outcomes of stereotactic body radiotherapy for unresectable primary or recurrent cholangiocarcinoma.
Da Hoon Jung,Mi-Sook Kim,Chul Koo Cho,Hyung Jun Yoo,Won Il Jang,Young Seok Seo,Eun Kyung Paik,Kum Bae Kim,Chul Han,Sang Bum Kim +9 more
TL;DR: SBRT can be considered as an effective local modality for unresectable primary or recurrent cholangiocarcinoma and showed statistically significant higher overall survival rate in the recurrent tumor group.
Journal ArticleDOI
Which one will you choose; open, laparoscopic, or robotic transduodenal ampullectomy?: a case report
TL;DR: Four consecutive cases treated with open, laparoscopic, and robotic TDA for large premalignant lesions of the ampulla of Vater showed no abnormal findings or complications, except for digestive problems.
Journal ArticleDOI
Short and long-term outcomes of minimally invasive central pancreatectomy: Comparison with minimally invasive spleen-preserving subtotal distal pancreatectomy.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors compared minimally invasive central pancreatectomy (MI-CP) and minimalally invasive spleen-preserving subtotal distal distal pancreatic distal PCDP to figure out the short-term and long-term outcomes of MI-CP.
Journal ArticleDOI
Laparoscopic pancreas-preserving near total duodenectomy for large villous adenoma in patients with total colectomy for familial adenomatous polyposis
TL;DR: A 48-year-old male patient, who underwent laparoscopic total colectomy with end ileostomy because of FAP with colorectal cancer, was diagnosed with a 20 mm-sized duodenal adenoma in the second to the third portion as mentioned in this paper .
