Feasibility of discontinuation of corticosteroid maintenance therapy in heart transplantation.
TL;DR: Corticosteroid maintenance immunosuppression therapy was successfully discontinued in 24 of 46 patients who underwent orthotopic heart transplantation between March 8, 1985 and September 1, 1986, and these patients were subsequently maintained on low to moderate dosages of corticosteroids.
