The epidemiological relevance of family study in Chagas disease.

TL;DR: This study studied infection by T. cruzi in maternal lines of 70 women with chronic Chagas disease, confirmed serologically during the first third of their pregnancies with ELISA (Chagas III kit, GrupoBios SA, Chile) and indirect immunofluorescence (IFI) IgG (in-house).

TL;DR: The most frequent adverse effects were nauseas, epigastric pain, skin rash, anorexia, asthenia and paresthesia, and no modification of the test scores of CBC liver profile due to NFX administration was observed.
