The worm process for the Ising model is rapidly mixing

TL;DR: In this paper, the worm process for the zero-field ferromagnetic Ising model was shown to be fast for all finite connected graphs and at all temperatures, and a fully-polynomial randomized approximation scheme for the Ising susceptibility was obtained for a certain restriction of the two-point correlation function.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Worm Process for the Ising Model is Rapidly Mixing

TL;DR: In this article, the worm process for the zero-field ferromagnetic Ising model was shown to be fast and robust on all finite connected graphs, and at all temperatures, and a fully-polynomial randomized approximation scheme for the Ising susceptibility, and for a certain restriction of the two-point correlation function.

The mixing advantage is less than 2

TL;DR: In this paper, an upper bound to the expected value of the maximum of independent non-negative random variables in terms of the expected values of the independent copies of the variables is obtained, where the bound can be made as close to each other as we want.

The worm algorithm for the Ising model is rapidly mixing.

TL;DR: This work proves rapid mixing of the Prokofiev-Svistunov (or worm) algorithm for the zero-field ferromagnetic Ising model, on all finite graphs and at all temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

The mixing advantage is less than 2

TL;DR: In this article, an upper bound for the expected value of the maximum of n independent non-negative random variables in terms of M 1, M 2, M 3, M 4, M 5, M 6.
