Journal ArticleDOI

Combining density functional theory and 23Na NMR to characterize Na2FePO4F as a potential sodium ion battery cathode.

TL;DR: The use of density functional theory calculations are presented to assign the experimentally observed NMR shifts to the crystallographic sites in Na2FePO4F, where it is found that the results do not agree with the previously reported assignment based upon simple geometry arguments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical redox processes involved in carbon-coated KVPO4F for high voltage K-ion batteries revealed by XPS analysis

TL;DR: In this article, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was used to reveal the electrochemical redox processes of KxVPO4F and showed a high reversibility of the redox process although the K+ extraction and insertion from x=0.5 to 0 2 was hindered, possibly by structural constraints while electrolyte degradation occurred mostly above 4.5 V.

Supporting data for Sparse Cyclic Excitations Explain the Low Ionic Conductivity of Stoichiometric Li7La3Zr2O12

TL;DR: Burbano et al. as mentioned in this paper used sparse cyclic excitations to explain the low Ionic conductivity of stoichiometric Li7La3Zr2O12 and generated Figure S3 (d) in the "Validation of the Interatomic Potential" section.
Journal ArticleDOI

Raman Spectroscopy Study on Na2/3Mn1-xFexO2 Oxides

TL;DR: In this article, the structural properties of Na2/3Mn1-xFexO2 were studied by Raman spectroscopy and it was found that the crystal structure and the composition of Na 2/3mnO2 display a strong dependence on the history of the thermal treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Controlling the Cathodic Potential of KVPO4F through Oxygen Substitution

TL;DR: In this article , the mixed anion phases KVPO4F1-yOy (y = 0, 0.25, 0., 0.75, 1) were synthesized and determined their crystallographic and electronic structures by combining synchrotron X-ray diffraction, Xray absorption spectroscopy at the vanadium K edge, and 31P MAS NMR coupled with density functional theory calculations.
