Journal ArticleDOI

Three-dimensional transient model for arc welding process

TL;DR: In this article, a discrete element analysis (DEA) was used to simulate the de-development of a weld pool during stationary and moving tungsten-arc welding processes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal modeling and characterization of wire arc additive manufactured duplex stainless steel

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) based Directed Energy Deposition (DED) process to build two parts, tube and wall from 2209 Duplex Stainless Steel.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimal design of hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) using hydrogen storage technology for data center applications

TL;DR: In this article, an optimization routine employing a search algorithm is developed to find the minimum levelized cost of energy (LCE) that meets zero LPS in the context of data center application.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of precipitates in CdTe and Cd(1-x)Zn(x)Te grown by vertical Bridgman-Stockbarger technique

TL;DR: In this paper, high resolution scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM/EDS) was employed to characterize exposed precipitates in CdTe and Cd(0.96)Zn( 0.04)Te.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of mass transport in cold wire deposition for Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing

TL;DR: In this article, a numerical simulation of the wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) process with dissimilar substrate was performed to verify the numerical results and showed that the increase of wire feed rate leads to homogenous composition in fusion zone (FZ).
