Journal ArticleDOI

Stability of alkoxy-substituted inden-2-ones and 6,7-dimethoxy-1,4-diphenyl-2,3-naphthoquinone

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that 5,6-dimethoxy-1,4-diphenyl-2,3-naphthoquinone is more stable than the corresponding quinone lacking methoxyl substituents, perhaps because of easier reaction with the lead tetraacetate.
Journal ArticleDOI

2-Benzopyran-3-ones stabilised by alkoxy substituents

TL;DR: In contrast to the corresponding compounds lacking alkoxy substituents, the 2-benzopyran-3-ones 5, 6, 7 and 9 are stable and easily isolated as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

2‐Benzopyran‐3‐ones Stabilised by Alkoxy Substituents.

TL;DR: In contrast to the corresponding compounds lacking alkoxy substituents, the 2-benzopyran-3-ones 5, 6, 7 and 9 are stable and easily isolated as mentioned in this paper.
