TRM-IoT: A trust management model based on fuzzy reputation for internet of things

TL;DR: A trust and reputation model TRM-IoT is presented to enforce the cooperation between things in a network of IoT/CPS based on their behaviors and the accuracy, robustness and lightness of the proposed model is validated through a wide set of simulations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surveying and Analyzing Security, Privacy and Trust Issues in Cloud Computing Environments

TL;DR: This paper primarily aims to highlight the major security, privacy and trust issues in current existing cloud computing environments and help users recognize the tangible and intangible threats associated with their uses, and analyze the way that may be addressed to eliminate these potential privacy, security and trust threats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling a Dynamic Data Replication Strategy to Increase System Availability in Cloud Computing Environments

TL;DR: In this paper, a dynamic data replication strategy is put forward with a brief survey of replication strategy suitable for distributed computing environments and experimental results demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the improved system brought by the proposed strategy in a cloud.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analyzing, modeling and evaluating dynamic adaptive fault tolerance strategies in cloud computing environments

TL;DR: Theoretical as well as experimental results conclusively demonstrate that the dynamic adaptive fault tolerance strategy DAFT has high potential as it provides efficient fault tolerance enhancements, significant cloud serviceability improvement, and great SLOs satisfaction.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Modeling and evaluation of trust in cloud computing environments

TL;DR: In this paper, the definition of trust in cloud systems is introduced and the properties of trust are analyzed, and an extensible trust evaluation model named ETEC is proposed, which includes a time-variant comprehensive evaluation method for expressing direct trust and a space-Variant evaluation methods for calculating recommendation trust.
