Journal ArticleDOI
Sample size for pre-tests of questionnaires
TL;DR: Small samples (5–15 participants) that are common in pre-tests of questionaires may fail to uncover even common problems, and a default sample size of 30 participants is recommended.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cultural differences, experience with social networks and the nature of true commitment in Facebook
TL;DR: Findings show that experience with the site and even more so, culture, have an effect on users' motivations for using Facebook, as well as their instrumental uses and the time they invest on the site.
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of logistic regression modeling: beyond the number of events per variable, the role of data structure.
Delphine S. Courvoisier,Christophe Combescure,Thomas Agoritsas,Angèle Gayet-Ageron,Thomas V. Perneger +4 more
TL;DR: There is no single rule based on EPV that would guarantee an accurate estimation of logistic regression parameters, so the number of predictors, probable size of the regression coefficients based on previous literature, and correlations among the predictors must be taken into account as guidelines to determine the necessary sample size.
Journal ArticleDOI
Open-label, multicentre, dose-escalating phase II clinical trial on the safety and efficacy of tadekinig alfa (IL-18BP) in adult-onset Still's disease
Cem Gabay,Bruno Fautrel,Jürgen Rech,François Spertini,Eugen Feist,Ina Kötter,Eric Hachulla,Jacques Morel,Thierry Schaeverbeke,Mohamed Hamidou,Thierry Martin,Bernhard Hellmich,Peter Lamprecht,Hendrik Schulze-Koops,Delphine S. Courvoisier,Andrew Sleight,Eduardo Schiffrin +16 more
TL;DR: The results indicate that tadekinig alfa appears to have a favourable safety profile and is associated with early signs of efficacy in patients with AOSD.
Journal ArticleDOI
COVID-19 Symptoms: Longitudinal Evolution and Persistence in Outpatient Settings.
Mayssam Nehme,Olivia Braillard,Gabriel Alcoba,Sigiriya Aebischer Perone,Delphine S. Courvoisier,François Chappuis,Idris Guessous +6 more
TL;DR: Informing patients and physicians about COVID-19 symptom evolution and persistence in an outpatient setting in Geneva, Switzerland, from day 1 through day 30 to 45 after diagnosis may help them recognize the time course of the disease.
